In an effort to lead Hong Kong’s fashion industry towards sustainable development, Fashion Summit (Hong Kong) co-organized with the Consulate General of Italy in Hong Kong to send a delegation to Milan, the fashion capital of Italy, in June this year. The visit provided a valuable opportunity for sustainable fashion designers in Hong Kong to exchange ideas on promoting sustainable fashion with Italian designers, fashion brands, representatives of the National Chamber for Italian Fashion,
and the Italy China Council Foundation. It also allowed the Hong Kong delegation to learn from the successful experience of the world-class fashion event, Milan Fashion Week, to build Fashion Summit (Hong Kong) into an internationally renowned fashion event.
